The New Castle Consistory, Council of the Princes of Jerusalem held its annual Stag Steak Fry, Wednesday, August 13, 2008.
Members and prospective members of the Valley of New Castle enjoyed great food and fellowship. The evening began with appetizers and beverages before everyone took turns cooking their own steak on the massive grill at the Tall Ceders Coffee Grounds.
A 50/50 raffle was held to raise money for the 32° Masonic Learning Center for Children, $350 was collected allowing for a $175 winning ticket to be drawn. Brother Richard B. Meredith, 33°, was the lucky ticket holder! But, in true Masonic fashion, Richard dontaed his winnings back to the Learning Center!
Hat's off to Brother Richard P. Mulcahy, Sovereign Prince, and the others involved, for making this a very successful event.
